1cupapplesauce, unsweetened
1cupsugar 1/2 c butter and lard
1eachegg
2cupflour
1cupraisins, chopped
1cupnut meats
1teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspooncinnamon
1teaspooncloves
4teaspoonsalt

Directions:

Combine ingredients. THEN drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie
sheets. Bake in 375 F. oven till done.
